Since as long as I can remember, music has been an important part of my life. While I consider piano my “main” instrument (and that is what I enjoy playing the most), I actually first started playing the flute at a very young age, and continued partway through college. In high school I was at pretty good level (given my age), though at college I discovered I was a small fish in a big sea of much better players, and my studies in engineering took up most of my time, so I basically stopped playing.
Unlike piano, with which I was primarily self-taught, I had a professional flute teacher for many years, and usually practiced around an hour a day. As a result, I think I had a bit of a feeling of burnout on that instrument.
However, after releasing two albums of my piano music I thought it would be nice to brush off my flute and try recording a song. My flute needs maintenance, and my embouchure muscles are somewhat weak (making it hard to play in the high register), but I still was able to play well enough to be comfortable with releasing a short single with my flute, backed by myself playing piano.
I released the song on a few places including Spotify and YouTube, and you can find links to some of those on the below link:

Please let me know your thoughts about this short piece, as it will help me decide if I do more flute music or switch to something else.
Actually I started brushing off my acoustic guitar the last week or two, so I may try to play a song or two involving that.
