The submission deadline for the contest I announced around a month ago, “Promising Translators 2018”, is now officially past and the contest is closed to any further submissions.
I would like to thank all of those that have submitted their works, and also to those who expressed interest. I have replied to confirm all submissions via email but if you didn’t get my confirmation please write me another email or put a comment on my blog.
Although the turnout was pretty small, for a first contest I think it was just the right number. I do not expect the judging to take more than few weeks.
For those that missed out, there is a good chance I will run another contest, maybe as early as the next few months, so it never hurts to start searching for a new translation project and get the author’s permission ahead of time (unless it is public domain).
