Japanese literature Audiobooks

Besides teaching Japanese, my focus has been reviewing and even translating Japanese literature so that more people can enjoy it.

The majority of my translations are available in E-book form, and a few are available in paper format. Recently, I have begun producing professional audiobooks of these. Here are the two that are available now:

Fast Forward Japan: Stories by the Founding Father of Japanese Science Fiction [Just Released]

A collection of quirky, thoughtful stories by an important figure in Japanese SF that focus on the dark side of science fiction. Contains the first modern Japanese dystopian tale, “Eighteen O’Clock Music Bath”.

Classic Japanese Fairy Tales, Volume 1: Mimei Ogawa: The Father of Modern Japanese Fairy Tales

Simple but meaningful stories by the author known as the Hans Christian Andersen of Japan, many of which have connections to Japanese culture and philosophy.
